A relaxed outdoor painting workshop in one of Stockholm’s beautiful parks.

Come as you are, bring a friend, your child, your partner or just yourself, and spend 2,5 hours painting outside with good coffee, cake and fresh air around you.

You do not need any experience. This workshop is all about slowing down, playing with colour and creating something that feels like you. I will be there to guide you, support you and help you find your way on the canvas, without making it feel like school.

All materials are included, as well as fika with cake from Sophie Marie Cakes, coffee and alcohol free refreshments from Stockholms Bränneri.

You will leave with your own finished artwork, a calmer head and hopefully that lovely feeling of having done something just for yourself.

About me

Hi, I’m Melanie, the artist behind Ateljé Bara.Vara.

I started painting as a way to come back to myself - in between family life, everyday chaos and all the roles we carry. What began as a quiet creative outlet has become my favourite way of slowing down, reconnecting and expressing what words sometimes cannot.

In my workshops, I want to create a space where you do not have to perform, prove anything or “be good” at art. You can simply arrive as you are, play with colours, try things out and enjoy the process.

Ateljé Bara.Vara means “just being”, and that is exactly the feeling I hope you will take with you.
